unexpected homos

"Wolfe"?

On Saturday at work, I served an old couple and facilitated their rental of several weekly DVDs, one of which was a thriller by the name of Phantom.

Later, while doing returns the old man comes back in with Phantom. I had assumed he was going to ask me to clean it because thats what they all want. So I said "Yes mate?" He wanted to return Phantom because its not what he had expected, you see it had homosexuality in it.

I let him exchange it for another video. He said "I don't have anything against that! I just wasn't expecting it." Then I looked at the back of the box and there were 3 photos...all of men kissing. Am I a bad homo for letting him exchange the video? I feel kind of guilty about letting him get away with that now. At the time I was like "well, who cares its only a weekly?" but now I feel I may have yielded to the patriarchy. What do you think?

So clearly not the Billy Zane "Phantom" or the Gerald Butler "Phantom of the Opera" or George Lucas' "Phantom Menance"... What is this film with men kissing?

Nah, I don't think you should feel guilty...

If the movie had been a straight porno-type movie, would you feel guilty for letting him exchange the movie?

But then again, maybe I'm just a bad homo too...

It was pretty clear what kind of film it was going to be, if you look at the back, read the blurb...there's even a picture of a guy in a leather mask on the front though kind of blended into the colours of the cover.

"R strong sex scenes, nudity"
hmm...

Okay, I've decided to rent it! I'll let you know how it is!
